 Software issues, 2008-11-21
The NDAS worked great at first, I have a 16MBit connecting on a wireless N router. After awhile however, the software caused NTLDR issues on all my computers. I had to send my laptop into HP, and it still doesn't work like it did before I installed this drive. I KNOW it was the software, I had the same problem on 3 different machines, immediately after it was installed. Windows had to be re-installed on all 3. Also, the enclosure does NOT have a fan, and gets pretty hot. Its also made out of plastic, and does not deal with the heat efficiently. This is a great idea for a product, but needs a lot of work. I was really looking forward to having this work, but it came up very short of my expectations.
