Extremely Poor Customer Service, 2008-06-25 I purchased this product and went about registering the WINZIP portion. That went fine. When I attempted to register the e-mail companion, I was unable to get the registration to work. Note that if you do not register the product, it will only work for a certain number of days.
I contacted Customer Support, and I was told the registration number I was attempting to use was for the WINZIP product. Folks, I can read. I have two different CD envelopes for two different products; they clearly have two different registration codes. The envelopes clearly state which registration code is which.
After submitting quite a bit of evidence that I had indeed purchased the product, Corel still wants me to take the time and hassle to return the product.
I do not think I should have to go to that trouble since I have proven I have purchased the product; all they need to do is give me a code to register the product and I can be on my way.
They refuse to budge on this, and I have ended up paying full price and only getting half of what I paid for. I think it is THEIR responsibility to step up and make this easier for me.
Also, why should AMAZON be saddled with a return for Corel's screw-up? Do the easy thing Corel and THINK about the right thing to do in terms of customer service.
