Not "Dual" Auto Reverse, 2007-02-27 Be careful when ordering.
The item described and pictured here is NOT a DD-6200. It is a different Sherwood model. The DD-6200 does not have dual auto-reverse. Only one tape drive has dual auto-reverse capability. I found out the hard way. The product arrived in the mail (from J&R - also described incorrectly on their website) and it was not as described here.
3 stars might be a little generous. Call it basically a neutral rating.
The unit seems to have excellent sound quality. However, only one of the tape drives was working correctly when I received it; the other played at about half speed. Because mine was defective and the product was not as described here, I returned it.
Even though it doesn't have auto-reverse, the sound quality was good enought that I probably would have kept it were it not defective.
There's always going to be defective units of a mass produced product. I wouldn't let the fact that mine was defective keep me from buying another Sherwood product. It could have been banged around when it was shipped. But be aware that this is NOT a "dual" auto-reverse machine.
