What fun. I cannot sit still while listening to this recording. The music is toe-tapping and no matter what I do around the house, it is fun with this music in the background. The voices are not the best but to me that is what makes this performance so real. This is certainly a pick-me-up!

I loved the movie so much I came straight home to see if CD was available. Ordered 2, one as a gift. I play it all the time I am in my car. It is like watching the movie all over again.
If Only Brosnan Didn't Sing, 2008-10-25
More than seven years after it opened on Broadway, the recent tidal wave of stage-to-screen musical adaptations finally launched the film version of the hugely popular "Mamma Mia!".
The largely enjoyable movie, starring Meryl Streep, brings the fun of ABBA's musical to the big screen. While a few songs from the stage version are dropped, the best songs, sung by the actors themselves, were included in the film. All do an admirable job, with the exception of Pierce Brosnan - who, while a good actor & easy on the eyes, simply has a terrible "fingernails-on-the-chalkboard" voice.
I love ABBA's music. The originals bring back great childhood memories, while the cast cd is almost equally as fun. The film soundtrack, though not on par with its predecessors, remains enjoyable. You may just want to skip the couple of tracks "sung" by Mr. Brosnan.

The movie itself is a decent musical. The music is great and definitely worth buying the CD or MP3 download.

IT IS THE BEST CD I OWN. I play it everyday to inspire me and keep me
HAPPY. My family enjoys it too and we sing along to most of the songs.
My sincere thanks to Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks for making this soundtrack
and movie, it's the best. Amazon keep up the good work in MUSIC.
