Teenage rock, perhaps too much Avril Lavinge-ish., 2008-09-04 Noisiy guitar riffs, loud vocals, risky lyrics and cheesy slow ballads made this album just perfect for lost teenagers who are looking for a new Avril Lavinge to follow.
Apart from a few good ones, including of course the hit singles, there's not really much new on this "Pink-meets-Avril Lavinge-wannabe-Alanis Morisette" experiment.
The good ones are really good and the other ones, well, are just not much relevant... Probably, rather than releasing full album, a Maxi-EP would have been better enough as one can feel how some of the cuts are in here just for filling.
Good, but not much more of it.
Great CD, 2008-09-03 Great songs, and not just "I Kissed a Girl". The whole album is good. Definately worth a listen and a buy.
Not impressed...., 2008-09-03 CD was a copy-and a bad one at that. Just the album copied badly on to a blank CD- no case, no nothing on the CD either. I wasn't very impressed at all.....

katy perry cd, 2008-09-02 the cd that i ordered worked but was a copy of the cd and not the real thing
Fantastic!, 2008-09-02 I first saw and heard Katy Perry on an episode of "The View." I watched in awe as she strutted herself about the stage and mingled with the audience. What a stage presence! What a song! Oh, yeah, the song was "I Kissed A Girl." After her performance, I was totally hooked so I went on Amazon.com and bought the LP "One Of The Boys." Now I am not a huge fan of today's music. My cut-off point is usually 1980's music. However as I listened to songs like "Waking Up In Vegas", the title cut, "Thinking Of You", and the hit "Ur So Gay," I instantly beacame a fan. I can hardly wait for her next lp...
