Easy to install. The scanning process is straight forward and easy. It would have been easier if there were some first time user instructions and examples of moving from the scanned image to storage, etc. Once, I figured this out, it was a "snap." I am very pleased.
Paperless, 2008-08-10
An absolute must have. Our dental office is moving to a paperless system and this scanner was so valuable at scanning patient charts that I bought two. In 2 months we have scanned over one thousand charts, ranging from 12-130 pages each. Now what to do with the empty space where the file cabinets used to be?
A little revolution, 2008-08-10
This is an ultra-fast, double side, business oriented scanner. Once fine tuned, software is really fast, customized to your needs and generates searchable PDF that allow easy recovery of documents.
A must have, return on investment is very, very quick.
Best scanner for scraps of paper, documents, articles, etc., 2008-08-03
I found this scanner very easy to use with my Intel Mac. The Adobe Acrobat software is worth quite a bit, so as a whole this is good value for money. The Fine Reader software works well, and if you have a Mac, you can't buy it separately, it only comes with this bundle. The resulting, searchable PDFs, made with Fine Reader are a little bigger in filesize than I had hoped. That is the only downside. The scanner is neat, quiet, and easy to setup. The interface and software work well in a Mac environment. There's also a document holder included for scraps of paper, so they don't get lost inside the scanner. All in all, this is a very good product.

 Works as advertised, not perfect but nearly, 2008-07-23
This is a really nicely made product. The white color complements my Mac and I had no trouble setting it up out of the box and getting it running in about 10 minutes. It is quiet, very fast and had only about one or two misfeeds in three or four hundred pages of documents. Scan quality on the slowest is superb and excellent on all others. It is happiest with about 25 pages in the feeder but will go up to 50. The software interface could be better or faster in use but gets the job done and offers you enough options to be flexible and useful in naming scans and so on. The inclusion of the Acrobat Pro software is a nice bonus. Also the covers can fold top and bottom to enclose the unit when not in use which helps to keep dust out. I turned a four drawer chest of papers into a 4GB thumb drive with this baby! I would have given it 4.5 stars if possible - the only ding is the software (at least for Mac). Highly recommended!
