 Television at its best, 2008-08-16
I commend HBO for this informative and highly educational production. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a more intellectually enriching experience from his or her TV than the vast superficial TV programming we now get. It is worth buying it and even watching it a second time with the historical fact feature. It is good for the whole family.
Great historically accurate series, 2008-08-15
This was a riveting series. Historically accurate. Excellent actors and amazing settings. A true reflection of the Revolutionary period!
 Another really well made HBO mini-series, 2008-08-14
This is an engaging look at John Adams and his interactions with the other Founding Fathers. It follows what was written in the book Founding Brothers almost exactly though, so if you have recently read it then the story becomes a little repetitive.
Worth every penny!, 2008-08-13
We NEVER buy DVD's, but couldn't resist this one for a Father's Day gift. Wow! The entire family LOVED every minute of it. It was the highlight of our summer TV viewing. I think every American should see this one. It showed the realistic formation of our country, not the fairy tale version we all learned in grade school. It is definitely a MUST SEE.

Enjoyable. Gives the viewer new depth into a time we were unable to share. It provides a history lesson without boredom. The performances by all are to be celebrated.
