 Bleeding love from Leona, 2008-04-01
A sensational new singer and she has a voice for the world to hear. Shes not Whitney, Celine, Mariah or Jordin but she got a voice. She is Leona Lewis. The song Bleeding Love lyrics sends chills through my body with that voice . I dedicate this song to my husband, even though people always like to give there opinion about a relationship or do whatever to discourage it from happening. I found faith and love from him who knew the truth of me. He loves me still 20 years later. Just follow your heart. Her debut cd SPIRIT is scheduled for release April 8, 2008.

Newcomer Leona Lewis definitely shows that she has a little bit more in her inner voice than artists that have shown to be more about hype like Britney Spears and American Idol victor Jordin Sparks. Her debut single Bleeding Love, the first single from her U.S. debut album, Spirit, is a strong ballad that carries simply from the heart and the mind. She has a very deep voice, that is a good debut. Unlike powerhouses like Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson who've made so-so singles, this is one that works well for any listener. Considering the track sound very good, I hope that Spirit can work this well for Leona Lewis for American listeners. She sounds like she can be a knockout.

A "Spirit"-ed first single!, 2008-03-18
In a world of overrated rap and hip-hop artists and pop stars whose personal lives overshadow their music, the lovely Leona Lewis is a breath of fresh and much needed air!
After becoming the 2006 winner of Britain's X-Factor (the British equivalent of American Idol) the exotic beauty unveils her first single, "Bleeding Love", the lead track for her inaugural cd, "Spirit". The set of songs have become Britain's fastest selling debut cd and the single has been number one in several countries. Now, Ms. Lewis is set to conquer America. And what better way to do so than release a great song, with solid, stirring vocals!
Ms. Lewis reminds me of a pre-diva Mariah Carey or Whitney Houston. Her first single takes me back to the first time I heard "Vision of Love" by Carey and was amazed by her vocal ability. There was a sincerity in Mariah's songs then, as there is in Lewis' now. Let's hope that with the upcoming praise and awards she is bound to receive, Ms. Lewis can manage to keep her feet on the ground and continue to give her fans great music and impressive singles.
If you are a fan of Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion or good pop/R & B music, "Bleeding Love" will be a single you will enjoy. It gives us a taste of what to expect from Lewis' upcoming cd, which in America will have two additional songs. Highly recommended!

More reflective of Onerepublic, 2008-03-17
bleeding love does not sound like the any of the other songs on leona lewis's album. the reason for this is the track was essentially made by onerepublic with leona's vocals substituted. so if you enjoy this type of music you'd be better off buying onerepublic's album instead of her's.

Still Bleeding at #1 In Australia , 2008-02-13
In Australia, It's platinum CD single sold number 1 since 15 December 2007 until present.
Overwhelm #1 hit song by the young and gorgeous hand writers Ryan Tedder (OneRepublic) & Jesse McCartney.
Hopefully, it shall be hit in the US next month.
