What Doesn't Come With Your Mac OS X, 2008-02-15
The stuffit engine does a wonderful job of extracting compressed files, zip, tar, sit, & sea. The Deluxe version adds the ability to make your own self-extracting compressed files to send, and well as to archive. This version allows you to view archived files without having to extract them. (kind of like 'quick look' on OS X Leopard). Your compressed files also can be encrypted with very strong password protection for safe keeping or transfer. Compresses photos and music to fit on a CD or DVD that otherwise wouldn't fit. The magic menu integrates nicely in your menu bar. I've had no problems with this program at all and I highly recommend it if you need these features.
