    Didn't work for me!, 2007-12-03
    I purchased Panda Internet Security 2008 for use on a new Toshiba laptop running Vista Home Premium software. Installation went fine, but then I started having problems. The firewall in the program consitently kept me from connecting to my Pre-N wireless network. Vista identified the problem as the Panda firewall. I would often have to reboot the computer to make a connection. I then uninstalled Panda and went to Norton Internet Security 2008. After the change my computer connects to my home wireless with no problems, and runs much faster when online than it did with the Panda program. I would not recommend this product.

    I had a problem, 2007-12-01
    The installation procedure worked well, although it did take a long time. The program ran well for two days and seemed to be working as it should. I particularly like that the fire wall is less intrusive (no annoying messages, just seems to work in the background) than PC-cillin, which I've used for the last couple of years. Then it ran its first automatic update and I got an "exception" message (typical undecipherable Windows jargon). The program would no longer open. I decided to uninstall/reinstall, but kept getting messages that traces were left and had to be removed. I called the help desk only to learn that I could only get assistance on week days (this was Saturday). Luckily, I found an uninstall program on line in the FAQs and that worked. I reinstalled the program and it seems to be working. We'll see. A new development: I've had to disable the start up scan. It appears that with so much going on during the computer boot up there can be a conflict which causes everything to lock up and requires a manual shutdown.

    Will not install !!!!! No customer service response after 2 days!, 2007-11-28
    I am very unhappy with my purchase. I have never had an installation problem with any other software in many years. There is no response to emails and the phone wait (NOT TOLL_FREE) is endless. I have tried everything to prep my computer to install this highly rated program. I am buying security software from my previous company that had a fairly good coverage and did not bog down my computer. This is going in the trash.

    Don't purchase this product if you expect customer support, 2007-11-20
    I do not recommend this product or the company. Called for technical assistance, followed by emails twice. It is been three weeks and I have not heard from them yet. Internet security products always without exception conflict with one of your current applications. It is very important to be able to contact the technical support. This company doesn't give support to individuals or at least not to me.

    Excellent Antivirus, 2007-11-11
    This is an Excellent Antivirus Software, great proteccion, firewall, it make the pc a little slow (just a little bit)if you have a medium power pc, but i'm agree, when i was installing it, it removes 7 viruses from the boot and 56 from the entire disc, my old antivirus, didn't do it. I Recomended it!
