 Microsoft word 2007, 2008-07-30
There is no indication that the software I bought is a used copy, and I hope it is not. I tried to input in a second computer and it does not work. I will be checking with customer services regarding this.
The product itself works fine. No complaints so far.

 Return to the past, 2008-07-28
After self publishing several books using WordPerfect, I got tired of fighting the finickiness that WP exhibits with regard to dealing with graphics, and lulu.com doesn't support templates for their odd format books. So, I bought Word 2007 and a book to help understand it. After growing up with word processors, this program makes me feel like I've never seen software before. The help menu, because of their redefining terms, is next to useless and the book I bought doesn't help much. But, I worked through a manuscript, only to find that lulu.com finds errors that I cannot find (the file looks good both in .doc, .docx, and PDF.) Without the show codes that Wordperfect has, there seems to be no way to debug the file that seems ok in Word's own viewer. After one week of toil with Word, I recreated the document in WordPerfect, which worked in lulu. This is the most frustrating piece of software I can remember dealing with. Perhaps it's as nice as some of the reviewers say, but I wonder if they've put it to a real test. In terms of help menus, this is a return to the past. I wouldn't recommend this program for anyone at this point.

I update from Office XP, and it has help me a lot making my way easier. I would recommend it big time.

Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007, 2008-07-28
I really like the new "OneNote" software that is included in this package. It's great for students or researchers! It's like Word and Excel combined into one! I'm still getting used to the bubbles and ribbons in the new software and finding stuff.
Home & Student 2007 Microsoft, 2008-07-28
This is a very good product, I love the tutorial that comes with the product. There are soooo many features with Microsoft Home & Student, that will keep any student prepared for school and any person working from home very organized.
My only drawback is the disappointment after paying $150 for the software that there are no upgrades to the 2007 Home and Student software.
