Im glad the Sims comes on a mac, 2007-06-09
When I got my mac I was really excited but slightly disappointed that i could no longer play my sims on it. I love the sims 2 for teh mac, not only is it an updated version on the sims, it's very enjoyable, I highly recommend it!

Fun if you like running a family, 2007-05-07
This game is great fun if you enjoy running people's lives! Unfortunately, I found that I am better at running a civilization than running a family, and so I gave up on it and turned to my Civilization IV game. For me, it just took too much time telling SIMS characters when to eat, sleep, and go to the bathroom. Yes, many of those things can be done automatically, but overall the game just progressed too slowly for me. It was just too tedious.

    THE BEST GAME EVER!, 2007-05-06
I LOVE The Sims. I have all the expansion packs except Pets and I have to say, even without the expansions there's enough content in this game to keep me entertained for years. The game is open ended, so you can play forever and do whatever you want with it. I love how you can customise your sims and see their genetics get passed along to their decendants. I ADORE how you can build their homes however you want, and run their lives however you wish. This game is amazing. And it's SO hard to get bored of the amazing graphics and the overall experiance: I know someone who played their sims through to 29 generations. Yes, 29. And even after following one sims family for over a year, she still isn't bored. That completly sums up the Sims experiance.

Plays just fine on my old G3, 2007-03-22
I've read a few of the reviews and have to disagree with some. We have a dual 533 MHz PowerPC G4 with 1 GB SDRAM running OSX and while it's an older machine it's running Sims2 fairly well. No it's not as fast as it is on our PC and I agree with the statements about the difficulties of porting games to Mac but I'm still able to lose myself for hours in the game without noticing the lag time too much.

    The Sims, 2007-02-23
Games good, very addicting kind of like pringles chips, once to pop you just cant stop.
For it to be really fun you kind of need the expansion packs.
