Still not easy, 2008-06-22
I was looking for an easy way to mock up some home designs so there would be a visual that could be discussed. The software can not make up for my lack of artistic ability and I ended up not being able to generate anything useful.
Today I would try to use sketchup, a free tool from google to generate similar ideas in visual form to discuss.

Received in good condition and in timely manner, but find product difficult to use.

Easy to use and intuitive but too many limitations..., 2006-12-08
I was able to learn this software without any instructions very quickly, however there are some severe limitations. If you need to dimension in greater detail than an inch then you run into the problems as the software starts acting weird. Also, if you have a circular room I have been unable to figure out how to design one in this software. Another frustrating thing is wall angles are pre-determined and you cannot specify a specific angle to for a wall to come off another wall. If it was able to do these things it would be an awesome software package.

 Where's the manual???, 2005-07-08
Just wanted something to play with at home. Read great reviews and the price was right. Don't have internet at home which must make a difference. Could figure out a good portion on my own, but thought I'd get SOME instruction with my purchase. All I want is to draw 2-D house plans - nothing fancy. Can't even do that with this software. Can't duplicate plans of existing buildings.

Stay away from Broderbund software, 2005-07-07
I wish I could give them zero stars.
Broderbund pulled support for software I owned only 2 years after it was released.
I was unable to install it because it required internet registration which was no longer supported. To solve the problem, they offered to SELL me a different software title.
They must have thought I was stupid. They expected me to give them more money???
This company has second rate software and third rate customer service. Do not buy anything from them.
