 This isn't the OS X version!, 2003-12-14
Reading the existing reviews confused me until I realized that they were refering to the non-OS X native version of Print Shop for Mac. It looks like some people even bought this version not knowing there is a newer version of Print Shop out that is OS X native.
For some reason it currently does not show up on Amazon.com, but it is available elsewhere. So, if your Mac is running OS X, don't buy this one, buy the one that specifies it was built for OS X. I imagine that Amazon will start listing the newer version, but until then it is available from Apple directly or MacKiev.com, the people who rebuilt it for OS X.

 Don't buy if you have OS X, 2003-11-19
This program will run in OS X, but that's about it. We had all kinds of problems. Not able to save, can't print, won't insert graphics and on and on.It could have been a good program if they just converted it for OS X, but we're sending it back.

Very Disappointed, 2003-11-15
I have been a dedicated Print Shop and PrintMaster user since 1992. My first computer was a Commodore 64 and the first program I purchased for it was The Print Shop. I have religiously purchased the upgrades ever since. I just recently purchased my first Apple computer, an iMac. I really enjoy the computer itself. However, I am very disappointed with the Mac version of The Print Shop. It is dramatically inferior to the Windows version of The Print Shop and PrintMaster. I have had nothing but problems since I bought it. Printing is slow and gets locked up often, graphic selection is terrible, lacks many of the user-friendly features of the windows program, too many problems to even mention! It almost makes me wish I would have kept with a Windows based computer, as I mainly use my desktop publishing software. I really hope that someone develops a good desktop publishing program for the Mac OSX operating system. Until then can anyone recommend a program that is better than the Print Shop for Mac??

 A very dated product, 2003-10-29
No OSX support, and very slow on a 700 mhz G4 eMac. I've also found the saved files to be unstable and easily corrupted unless you reboot in OS9.If you're using up to date software, this package is going to be a disappointment to you - it would have seemed okay under 8.6 but it's very dated now.

I was ready to purchase the Print Shop version for mac but discovered through the reviews that it does not work with OSX ! Thanks guys for letting me know. I no longer use system 9 so this would have been a waste of money and time.
