    Mariah Can't Catch Madonna, 2005-11-19
Madonna breaks McCartney Top 10 record
    Posted: 19 November 2005 - From Everyhit.com
Madonna has entered the singles chart at Number 1 with 'Hung Up.' In doing so, she has secured her 54th Top 10 hit and overtaken Paul McCartney - including his tally with The Beatles, Wings and various other guises. Though both artists trail somewhat behind Elvis' 76 and Cliff's 65 Top 10 hits, they are an elite group; no other artists have had 50 or more Top 10 hits.

    Other significant Madonna chart facts....

-Longest span of Number 1 singles for a female solo artist
-Most Top 40 hits for a female solo artist
-Most weeks spent on The Top 40 by a female solo artist
-Most number 1's by a female solo artist
-Female solo artist with most weeks at Number 1

Mariah Carey is Crazy and so are her Fans, 2005-11-18
The following is from the TeamLamb website:

Welcome to TeamLamb, an organized team of Mariah Carey fans. Our purpose is to keep Mariah, the biggest female musical icon of all time, on top.

Unfortunately, the no-talent ****, Madonna, is still being referred to as the "Queen of Pop," even though her most recent album, American Life, and her Reinvention Tour have really made her the "Queen of Flops." Madonna used to be successful, but that's because she slept her way to the top. Mariah, on the other hand, has sold millions of records based solely on her amazing talents and being a great role model.

Mariah has had sixteen number one singles. Her last two number one singles, "We Belong Together" and "Heartbreaker" have broken worldwide records everywhere. Mariah's most recent Charmbracelet tour was a critically acclaimed smash that played to millions all over the world. Roger Friedman, a well respected music journalist, called the concert one of the greatest he's seen in the past ten years. Mariah is, indeed, the biggest musical sensation since the Beatles.

Within the next couple months, Madonna will try to take away Mariah's crown by releasing "Confessions on a Dance Floor" along with the single, "Hung Up." There seems to be a lot of buzz , but most of it seems generated by Madonna's desperate, pathetic fans. TeamLamb will do everything we can to make this project a flop for Madonna. We will organize by calling radio stations and telling them how much we don't like her new songs, write letters to several magazines and confirm that she is, indeed, over, and spread negative messages about Madonna on several Internet blogs.

    Daydreaming Away, 2005-11-11
Amazing this was 10 years ago now, One of the best R&B albums of the 90's where Mariah was on top of her career, just having released the amazing "Music Box" 2 years earlier and recorded a Christmas Album in 1994 where she had a hit with "All I want for Christmas is You" and then a great duet with Luther Vandross "My Endless Love". "Daydream" was a welcolmed step in the right direction where she both sings wonderful R&B songs and adult contemporary songs with success, either way "Butterfly" is a stand out. This is why.

The album starts where her last album finnished, but this time around there is more soul over the album and she also used samples from Tom Tom Club's "Genius of Love" to create her "Fantasy" that is a charismatic R&B number with choir backup singers and a great hook. "Underneath the Stars" is a semi-ballad, that reminds you of her older work, written by her old songwriter friend Walter Affansieff that was dominant on "Butterfly" aswell. "One Sweet Day" is a wonderful powerballad together with Boyz ll Men that was among the best R&B back then. It was also a smash. "Open Arms" is a cover of Journey's classic, and it isn't bad. "Always be My Baby" is one of the best here. Like "Fantasy" is a charming R&B song that uses backround choirs. "I am Free" is a slow almost accoustic ballad only backed by piano. "When I See You" yet another power ballad. "Long Ago" was no single release but what makes it interesting is that Jermaince Dupri and Seal co-wrote it, it's a midtempo. "Melt Away" is a soulish midtempo, could have been a hit. "Forever" is a classic Mariah Ballad, almost like the one's she made on "Music Box" 2 years prior to this. "Daydream" is only a interlude and the last song is a very slow paced ballad called "Looking In" which perhaps is the weakest here.

Overall, Perhaps Mariah's best album with "Music Box", Daydream mixes what she's best at "R&B" and contemporary adult pop. Walter Affansieff co-wrote a large number of songs, but Dupri also made his first Mariah song here. As a result, "Daydream" is a great mix of old and new and it's one album I highly recommend.

    beautiful daydream, 2005-10-30
this album is beautiful as a daydream about having a "fantasy" "underneath the stars" on "one sweet day" sitting there with "open arms" telling your lover you'll "always be my baby" and "i am free" everytime I feel this way "when I saw you". "long ago" when you made me "melt away" and now we're "forever" in love.....but it's all a "daydream" we are "looking in." Beautiful words set to beautiful music makes up this album and it's smooth r&b and soul music, fantasy being the big dance/pop hit on this album.
