 Great Educational Suite!, 2000-01-09
I really loved this 6 CD Suite of software. History is a wonderful learing tool, with video's and audio clips from various of periods throughout the 20th Century. I love the interactive maps that come to life with an explanation of what's happening, for example a full screen movie shows the collapse of the USSR back in 1991, and the map comes to life and changes before your eyes, as you hear an explanation. Not to the Science is very very awesome, I really find it a nifty feature that it reads the text to you, and of course you always have the option to read it yourself too. My only dissapointment was the Spanish program, it's Mexican Spanish and personally I feel that it should have been the Castillian Spanish. I have nothing against learning Mexican Spanish, but it is a regional accent with various of words, etc. it's like buying a "Learn English" software suite only to find it teaches you New York English (By the way I'm in NY :-). Overall it's an incredible value and outstanding learning tool, althought not too indepth.
