Not my favorite. :(, 2008-10-14
"Hidden Relics" isn't a bad game; it's mostly a hidden object game (HOG), with Find the Differences, Find 10, etc. between levels ("chapters"). Since the game mostly involves spotting antiques, the Handbook is a VERY useful feature which offers a definition and picture of objects the player selects from the look-for list, and using the Handbook does NOT use up one of the allowed hints.

The game is suitable for the hearing impaired, and a (weak) magnifier is the first purchase players make with stars earned from successful completion of a minigame. Minigames include Hanoi Towers, Memory, and jigsaw puzzles. I found the other purchases less useful.

I wish a little more time had been taken with development of "Hidden Relics;" it has a cheap feel to me. I wasn't fond of the comic strip story, although the comic strips can be skipped. Numerous misspellings litter the entire game, including "pizza cuter" and "loose" instead of "lose."
