I initially gave it 4 stars; a year later I give it 2 stars!, 2005-04-09
UPDATE 4-2006:
I have to downgrade my review of this product.

A 1, maybe 2, stars is about the best I could give it.

I installed it and then I had a hard drive and/or an OS problem with my PC.
I re-installed the item.
A few months later I bought a new pc and moved the software from the old PC, to the new PC.
Anyway, the software NEEDS to go online and register itself after each installation.
That's fine, as long as it knows who the software is registered to and realizes the owner's pc (regardless if a new HD or motherboard was installed)

Unfortunately, it does this online registration only certain number of times; After that number is reached, any LEGITIMATE re-registeration results in an error and the software becomes USELESS!

I have no problem with registration and/or keycodes for installing software. But to have software that determines BY ITSELF that it has already been installed and this RE-install must be some sort of piracy attempt, then QUITS, just sux.

I test a lot of software (shareware and Demo's) with my PC.
Sometimes I load software that ends up being junk, and/or something that gunks things up. Especially game trials/Demo's.

Therefore, when things get messed up I simply ensure all my essential data is backed up on DVD or such, then I do a CLEAN INSTALL of my OS and applications.Since this software makes no allowances for this sort of thing, I bought other software.

I had gotten email offers to upgrade, from this software maker.
I ignored all it's offers to UPGRADE, based on my experiences with their registration.

ORIGINAL review:
Not being an audiophile, it wouldn't take much to make me happy with decent, clean sounding audio on a pc.

This package gives some extra settings, to add depth/body to your audio files.

It's sort of a plug-in, not really a full software installtion.

Comes with several audio players, skins and more.

I paid about 9.99 when I bought it. Not too bad of a deal, for that price.

But for the "real deal, hardcore, audiophiles" I'm sure you'd need enhancements via hardware and not just software solutions.
