Customer Reviews:
A few thigs to know first, 2008-11-12 This motherboard is great. My build:- Processor: Intel Core2Duo E8400 45nm - 3Ghz Memory: Corsair Dominator 4GB (1GBx4) @ 1066Mhz Graphics: XFX 8600 GT 512MB
Things you should know first:- 1- For the first boot, you will need a DDR2 800Mhz RAM. Because the motherboard doesn't auto detect the 1066Mhz RAM. That 800Mhz RAM will be needed every time you flash your BIOS, unless the update released solves this issue.
2- The first thing you MUST do when you buy this board is to UPDATE TO THE LATEST BIOS.
When i first booted that board it gave me a message that the processor is not recognized (because the processor is a 45nm). So update the BIOS and this will be solved.
3- Installing the Q-Fans.. when you grab the Q-Fan.. a small booklet comes with it in its bag.. Just throw this small booklet in the trash can because it is wrong.. go with the instructions printed in the motherboards' manual for installing the Q-Fans.
Until now ... I haven't used this motherboard well enough to give any review about software stuff.. but i will sure update my review when possible.
