 canon 40d accessory kit - great addition, 2008-05-23
I recently purchased my Canon 40d. There were a several things I was concerned about. First, (and importantly) how to use it. The DVD with this kit is very helpful, so far. I still need to view more. The only thing I would say is, when they recommend downloading the camera's instruction manual, watch out. It is 196 pages long, make sure you have the paper to do it. I have saved it & probably will download it soon.
Secondly I really loved the lens care materials that came with the camera. It was very complete. Thirdly, I really like the LCD screen protectors. Even though I am very careful with my cameras, the LCD just looked like it would be prone to scratches & smears. The protectors (3 in kit) go on easly, just cut & stick.
Lastly, the batteries. The kit includes 2 batteries, a charger and an adapter for charging in your car. I never have less than 3 batteries whenever I go out taking pics. There is nothing worse than going for that perfect shot than to realize the batteries are dead. All in all, this is a superb product. Cameta camera sent it to me quickly and it was very well packed.
